People, I decided to make a brand new blog!

The blog will give upcoming dj's the opportunity to send in tracks/mixes. You can download the tracks and listen to the dj's work. After listening you can give feedback or rate the tracks! Do you think it's crap? Or is it great? Finally you can give your honest opinion about the tracks (like you didn't do that already).

I am working on my new blog right now, I hope it will be ready in 1 month! In the meanwhile you can send me tracks/mixes (maybe some artwork) for my new blog. Add some info about the tracks (length, genre, title, artist..) and maybe a little bit about yourself (which clubs do you rock), so I can make a nice post!

I hope you all like my idea for a new blog. I think the concept is different and unique from all the other house blogs!
In my opinion there are too many houseblogs that share exactly the same tracks, mixes and news. It takes too much effort and time to stand out from all these blogs! There are only a few that manage to distinguish.

Iy you're interested, as a dj, you can already send you're work to dutchsounds@gmail.com. I will let you know when you're track is released on the blog, so you can see how you're track is doing.

Hi houselovers,

Lately, you all noticed that nothing happened on this blog.
I´ve been too busy and didn´t have any time to search tracks and share them with you.
Thats the reason why i would like to change my blog.

I keep receiving many tracks and messages from dj´s from all over the world. There are so many dj´s who would like me to post their stuff. maybe it´s great to post all these tracks and give people the chance to give their opinion about it. This way i don´t have any problems with DMCA and you get the opportunity to listen to tracks of many talented dj´s from all over the world.
After listening to their stuff, you can rate the tracks and give your opinion, which helps the dj as well!

When I started this blog, I didn't know anything about blogging. I didn't know where to get music for my blog or which tracks I should or shouldn't drop. I didn't even know what 320 kbps means... But in fact, it's very simple! I'm doing the same old song over an over again. I take a look at the Beatport top 10 and start searching those tracks. Op school ben ik (samen met een groep van 5 studenten), bezig met een opdracht over internet marketing. We voeren deze opdracht uit voor een echt bedrijf (we mogen de naam van het bedrijf i.v.m. concurrentie niet noemen), dat wil weten of zij hun diensten ook via internet kan aanbieden. Dit is namelijk nog ongebruikelijk in de branche waarin het bedrijf opereert.

Op dit moment zoeken wij uit wat de invloed is van een SMS-dienst op de bezoekersaantallen van de website. Om dit te testen, willen we gebruik maken van DutchSounds. Dit is wel zo gemakkelijk, aangezien we dan geen tijd kwijt zijn met het maken van een website! We gaan dus simpelweg bekijken of DutchSounds nu vaker wordt bezocht dan gewoonlijk.

Wat zit er in voor jou?
Ik hoor je al denken, wat heb ik hieraan? Dat zal ik je vertellen. Om de opdracht te realiseren hebben we namelijk een budget gekregen van bedrijf x. We hebben daarom met z'n zessen besloten ook een prijsvraag te bedenken. Door deel te nemen aan deze prijsvraag maak je kans op bovenstaande Sennheiser HD 280 Silver t.w.v. €117,95! Op deze manier kunnen wij ons onderzoek doen en maken jullie kans op deze geweldige prijs..

Hoe werkt dit dan?
Het is heel simpel. We hebben een vraag bedacht met drie mogelijke antwoorden (A,B of C). Een maand lang kan iedereen uit Nederland het antwoord sms-en waarvan hij of zij denkt dat het goed is. Je krijgt dan meteen te weten of je het juiste antwoord hebt gesmst of niet. Heb je het juiste antwoord gesmst, dan maak je kans op de Sennheiser HD 280 Silver! Aan het eind van de maand zullen we namelijk, van alle goede antwoorden, er blind eentje uitrekken die de prijs heeft gewonnen!!
We nemen vervolgens contact op met de winnaar en sturen zijn prijs op.

De prijsvraag luidt als volgt;

Hoe weet ik of ik heb gewonnen?

Problems

I didn't post any music for a while. It's because of 2 reasons. First of all, there's something from with my internet connection. I am working on it, but don't know what it is. The second problem is the fact that I am on a internschip at Ilmo B.V. in Elst. I have to work from 9 to 5, and after that, I have to do so many others thing. Hopefully my internet connection will be fixed soon, so that I can provide new house tracks!

Now I spoiled you all with my TMB post yesterday, I need your help. You see, I have a little problem. I have a telephone contract from Hi.nl for 2 years. These 2 years are almost over and the day before yesterday, I received a letter from Hi.nl. They can make me an attractive offer which I can't resist, IF (and I never like if) I choose a new model here. Normally I don't read those standard sales letters, but this one got my attention. So obviously I visited the website, and what do think appears on the screen? 63 phone models which I will have to choose from!! Seriously, I counted the amount of models.
Now I don't know which one I should pick, and that's why I need your help. I allready asked some of my friends, but they all tell me different kind of stories. What do you think is the best model? Please let me know in the chatbox or as a comment. I don't know much about mobile phones..
